Registration
Participants in classes are not required to be members of the
Japanese Culture Institute, though members will be eligible
to register for classes, seminars and workshops at the
member’s rate. Membership and activity fees (when
applicable) are payable in advance.

Registration Form
Please
complete the registration form and either mail in
advance or bring to the first meeting of the scheduled
activity. Please note that there is often a minimum number
of students needed to hold a particular class. If the
minimum is not met, those who have registered will be
notified and given the option of a refund or a private class
at a slightly greater rate. Refunds
Activity refunds are available only before the beginning
of the first class. A 10% administrative fee will be
charged. Membership fees are not refundable.
Cancellations
Activities cancelled by the Institute will be rescheduled,
however activities missed by the member will not be
reimbursed. Make-ups for missed activities are not allowed,
unless specially scheduled in advance.
Activities will not generally be held on national holidays.

to see if classes will meet or be cancelled.
Class/Seminar/Workshop Fees
Fees for classes, seminars and workshops will vary,
depending on length of session and type of class. An
additional fee may be charged for supplies, or the student
may be required to procure supplies on his or her own (a
list will be provided).
